The enmeshment schema comes under the impaired autonomy and performance domain posited by Jeffrey Young. While it is a commonly occuring schema in our client population practitioners often overlook it. Working with clients with this schema can be challenging as they tend to describe their childhood as "good" and their parents as "good". In one case such a client reported to me that all their core needs were fully met.
